Diversity is at the core of the Vincent Price Design Group. When the clients purchased a log cabin in the Tahoe area they needed additional space as well as having it connected to the existing residence. A matching garage with living quarters over and a breezeway provide the solution to accommodate the design perameters.

Thorn Hill
The clients for Thorn Hill Vineyards (who live in Pennsylvania) were enamored by Northern California and wanted to create their dream of a Tasting Room, Winery, Residence and Vineyard.
After many discussions it was decided that the project was to be broken down into 4 stages. Stage 1 as shown is the residential portion of the project with new stages scheduled for 2012 and 2013.
In keeping with a natural setting and within the envelope of a vineyard (to be established) the style chosen was an eclectic “Tuscan” structure reflecting the many wineries of the area.
Quercus
Originally a horse barn, the client was in need of a weekend living quarters as well as an office. The challenge then was to re-model an existing building that had been used for livestock and convert it to a suitable conditioned structure.
Hardester
Beginning with a vacant lot and working closely with the client, Scott Bennett and Kevin Peters the Hardester’s project combined several structures in one setting that provided office space as well as retail and a coffee kiosk.
This project shows to scope of expertise that the Vincent Price Design Group can bring to a client.
Lakeport
Updating and upgrading commercial storefronts is one of our most important civic functions. With several projects already completed the Lakeport facilities is one of latest endeavors. With the minimum of construction work the illustration shows simple add-ons to update an older structure.

Having purchased a very narrow building site on the shores of Clear Lake, California the design challenges for this project dictated that the residence be design vertically.
The project is currently under construction by Heartwood Builders and as work progresses we will update this site to show continuing development.

Ceago
The design parameters for the “Ceago Casitas” project was to be based on the design theme previously established for the Ceago Del Lago Winery facilities located at Clear Lake, California.
Having worked closely with the client on the winery project earlier we clearly understood what the owners vision was for guest housing facilities on the property. It was with the owners input and design sensibility that produced a project that was not only cost effective but in keeping with the entire design concept.
Gaddy
Starting with a 70 year old farm house that was constructed from 3 existing houses a pig pen and horse stall the project went thru several design reviews based on construction cost and client requirements.
The project was to retain some of its “Farm” features and reflect a “Tuscan” style in keeping with the family’s heritage. Growing from 1200 s.f. to more than 2300 s.f. the residence now incorporates a large kitchen with modern upgrades an outdoor fireplace and pizza oven as well as a Bocce court, olive grove and vineyard.
Adjacent to the residence a 900 s.f. cottage was included in the project to accommodate visiting family and guests.
Akimoff
After recently purchasing a 30 plus year old residence on the shores of Clearlake, the clients wanted to modernize their home to make it more efficient and better suited to their needs.
After considering the design parameters as well as the condition of the existing home it was decided to “tear down” the existing structure for a more “up to date” single family dwelling.
The home now affords several levels of convenience, including, a guest cottage, outdoor pavilion and an enlarged parking garage/shop.
